Our Staff

	Sandy Barrett As the Relationship Coordinator, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our patients here at Dental Associates of Manchester. I reside in Manchester with my husband Jim and four children; Kory, Scott, Phil and Cindy. I enjoy spending time with my family and in my spare time I enjoy tennis, going for walks, and tending my flower garden and home.
	Connie Behnken I am a Registered Dental Assistant and have been working in the field of dentistry since November of 1987. Being a life long learner, I went back to school and received my B.S. in Business and Human Resource Management from UIU in May of 2003. My past dental experience and education has allowed me the privilege of being Office Manager for a wonderful group of doctors, hygienists and assistants. My husband, Jon, and I are life-long residents of Manchester. We have 2 children; Jessica, a student at the University of Iowa, and Justin, a student at West Delaware.
	Joni Blumer In July of 2008, I joined Dental Associates of Manchester as a Registered Dental Assistant. My husband, Jake, and I live here in Manchester with our son Isaac and dog Jasper. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family and watching my husband race.
	Emily Boge As a registered Dental Hygienist, I was seeking an office with advanced technology and a quality dental care philosophy. Our team at Dental Associates of Manchester strives to keep patient care our first priority. In addition to clinical hygiene, I enjoy serving the American Dental Hygienists' Association as an active member. My husband Mike, sons Lukas and Erik, and I farm north of Farley, Iowa. Outside the office I enjoy taking photographs, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
	Linda Cabalka Originally from Dubuque, IA, I graduated from the University of Iowa with a BS degree in Dental Hygiene in 1981. I have been working with Dr. Goettsch since 1986. My husband, Dave, and I have three boys, Greg, Jordan, and Jay. We enjoy following our sons in sports, as well as camping, and golfing.
	Jennifer Coleman I am a Registered Dental Hygienist at Dental Associates of Manchester. Prior to returning to Dental Hygiene School, I was a Dental Assistant for several years with Dr. Goettsch. As a hygienist, I am able to discuss, help prevent, and treat periodontal disease, as well as provide routine cleanings. My husband Corey and I reside just outside of Manchester with our yellow lab Bentley. In my spare time I enjoy walking, reading, being outdoors, working in the yard and spending time with family.
	Timothy Collier DDS Originally from Newton, Iowa, I graduated from the University of Iowa Dental College in 1997. In addition to restorative dentistry, I enjoy improving smiles with cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, and orthodontics. My wife, Tricia, is a part-time pharmacist at Widner Drug Store. We have three daughters; Lauren, Allison, and Morgan. Hobbies I enjoy are golf and the outdoors.
	Beth Drees After working for Dr. Goettsch for 7 years, I returned to college, where I received my Certified Dental Assisting degree, graduating from Northeast Iowa Community College in 2001. My husband Terry and I reside in Dyersville. We have a son, Mason, born in December 2005. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, especially working with children. Some of my hobbies include spending time with family, baking, and being outdoors.
	Dawn Gaffney DDS After graduating, from the University of Iowa in 2003, I have been glad to join the Dental Associates team. I am originally from Ryan, and have enjoyed my return to the area with my husband Lane. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry including orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and new technology such as our laser dentistry. My hobbies include sewing/quilting, gardening, music and traveling. We also enjoy spending time with our daughter Claire and are expecting our 2nd child in 2008.
	Katie Gisleson My name is Katie Gileson and I am a hygienist with Dental Associates. My husband, Chris, and I are newly married and recently bought a house here in Manchester. We are very exited to have our new home and in the Spring we are planning on expanding our family by getting a puppy. We look forward to a long and happy life in the Manchester area.
	Mica Geistkemper I attended Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo and graduated in 2004 as a Certified Dental Assistant. I am originally from Strawberry Point but my husband, Josh, and I reside in Manchester. I enjoy going on vacations, spending time with family, golfing and going to Iowa Hawkeye football games in the Fall.
	Gordon Goettsch DDS My wife Deb and I chose Manchester to set up a new dental office right after my graduation from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry in 1976. Our three children, Caryn, Spencer, and Nathan, were all born and raised in this great community. Deb is a longtime Junior Kindergarten teacher at West Delaware. I love all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry, implant placement, and laser dentistry. As an Adjunct Faculty member of my alma mater, I spend one day a week passing along my knowledge and love of dentistry to dental students. My hobbies include golf, long distance road bicycling, singing, and being involved in our community.
	Erin Kluesner I joined Dental Assoc. of Manchester in October of 2007. I enjoy being part of such a talented and professional group of individuals. I also enjoy the many dental services we offer all of or clients. My husband Craig and I reside in Edgewood with our two sons: Cade and Cael. In my free time I enjoy my family and friends, scrap-booking, embroidery and being outdoors.
	Lynn Knipper I am a Registered Dental Assistant and have worked in the dental field for 10 years. My husband, Alan, and I have two sons, Tyler(18) and Trevor(16). In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking trips out west during the Summer and snowmobiling during the Winter.
	Kristi Kramer A 1996 graduate of Kirkwood Community college, I have been working as a Registered Dental Assistant for Dr. Collier since January of 1998. My husband Tim and I have 2 boys; Isaac (6) and Jaxson (3). We spend most of our spare time entertaining our children, going to ball games, boating and watching movies.
	Diane McElliott I joined the Dental Associates team in July 2008, bringing with me over 25 years of customer service experience. I love meeting new people, so working at the front desk gives me the opportunity to build new relationships. My husband, Mike and I are both natives of Ryan where we currently reside. We have 3 children ~ Matt, Jana and Jody. Matt is married to Stacey Johnson and lives in North Liberty. Our girls are both in college. I am an avid "Cubs" fan, like to go car cruising, love old muscle cars, enjoy cooking, reading, hot summer weather, being outdoors and spending time with my family.
	Angie Mullen My name is Angie Mullen and I am a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. I have been with Dental Associates for 10 years and enjoy every aspect of what I do.My husband Kurt and I along with our children Spencer and Erin reside in Manchester.We enjoy being with family, drag racing events and watching our children grow up.
	Tanya Nurre I began my career as a Registered Dental Hygienist in June of 2000, working for Dr. Collier, after graduating from Hawkeye Community College; where I received my degree and "The Outstanding Clinician Award". I take great pride in helping our patients maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime. My husband, Luke, and I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with family and our special yellow lab, Chloe.
	Nicholas Payne DDS Originally from Alliance, NE, I graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2005. Upon graduation, I entered the USAF and completed an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) Residency at Offutt AFB, NE. After spending the last two years in Valdosta, GA at Moody AFB we decided to move back to the Midwest to be closer to family and raise our kids in a smaller community. I enjoy all facets of general dentistry from restorative to laser dentistry. My wife, Kelly, and I have two children Keera and Quinn.
	Kris Rave As a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant, I have been involved with all aspects of the dental office for 20 years. As Clinical Coordinator for Dental Associates, I try to keep things running smoothly in the clinical areas of the Practice, and most importantly still have the pleasure to assist chairside and help treat our patient's dental needs. My husband, Ken, and I are parents of 2 sons; Sam and Spencer, and soon to be daughter-in-law Lindsay. My hobbies include, Distance Road Cycling, RAGBRAI, photography, boating on the Mississippi, and reading.
	Hillary Recker I joined Dental Associates of Manchester in August of 2005 following my graduation from NICC, as a Registered Dental Assistant. I mainly assist for Dr. Dawn Gaffney, but will help in other areas of the office as needed. My husband Tony and I live on the outside of Strawberry Point with our son Vincent. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, gardening, scrapbooking, going on walks and shopping.
	Jeni Ries As a Registered Dental Assistant, and Financial Coordinator for Dental Associates of Manchester, I will help you with insurance and billing questions. I have worked for Dr. Goettsch since July 1996. My husband, Bob, and I have 3 sons: Brandon, Benjamin and Blake. We enjoy spending our time working for the family business, "Ries Trucking", being outdoors on our farm, and camping.
	Trudi Schnell I graduated from NICC, Dental Assisting program in 1996. I had worked as a chairside assistant for 10 years, until recently, joining Dental Assoociates of Manchester in the front office area. My husband, Mark and I live in Arlington on a small acreage, where we farm and do custom hay baling. We have 2 amazing children, Emmale(5) and Carter(2 1/2). I enjoy spending my time with my family and friends, decorating my house, and of course shopping with "the girls".
	Mary Steffen I joined the team at Dental Associates in January 2004, with 17 years of experience in the dental field. I am a Registered Dental Assistant working in the front office and helping out chairside when needed. I am a native of Manchester and live southeast of town with my husband Greg, and our three sons, Alex, Mason and Aaron, who keep us very busy. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, spending time with family and friends, and working in the yard.
	Susan Steinlicht A recent move to Northeast Iowa brought me to Dental Associates of Manchester in July 2006. I have been a Dental Hygienist since 1995 and enjoy getting to know my patients and providing quality dental care. In my spare time I like to bike, horseback ride, cook and shop.
	Mary White I am a Certified-Registered Dental Assistant with over twenty years experience in the dental field. During that time, I have worked all aspects of dentistry from chairside assisting to the front desk. I have three children, Alex, Noah, & Taylor, who keep me active. I enjoy photography, Tai-Bo, camping, and being outdoors.
	Jane Willenbring I joined Dental Associates of Manchester in July of 2008 as a Financial Coordinater working with Dr. Nicholas Payne. I live outside of Earlville with my husband Jeff and our sons Clay and Cole. We enjoy being outdoors, a variety of sports and spending time with family and friends.
